Whole Wheat Spinach Alfredo Pizza Recipe!
I REALLY love pizza! So yesterday I decided to attempt making a whole wheat, spinach alfredo pizza as a sort of healthier cheat meal option. It is by no means the healthiest thing you can eat, but when you're craving pizza, have this.
So, first of all, I used an AllRecipes video to make the crust except I made a few changes.
-Instead on using all-purpose flour with the wheat flour, I used all wheat flour.
-I used the whole recipe to make just one thick crusted pizza instead of two.
-I didn't knead it after it rose, I just rolled it out onto my pan.

Toppings:
You'll need Onion, Garlic, Spinach, Mozzarella cheese, and an alfredo sauce of your choice.
1. While your dough is rising, chop up as much spinach as you want on your pizza. I used about a cup and a half, maybe two.
2. Sautee as much chopped onion and garlic in a little bit of olive oil as you want until lightly browned.
3. Once the onions and garlic are done, take them off the heat and mix in your spinach so it absorbs the flavors.
Making the pizza:
1. Once your dough has risen, flatten it out onto your pizza pan and poke it all over with a fork. (Except where the outer edge crust is if you want it fluffy.)
2. Put it in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
3. After 10 minutes, spread alfredo sauce onto the crust. As much as you want!
4. Sprinkle on a little mozzarella cheese and your veggies.
5. Put it back into the oven for another 10 minutes or until your toppings are melted and browned.
6. ENJOY!
