Hair color remover!

So, because I am going lavender this weekend, I wanted to use a color remover on my blue first so I wouldn't have to bleach my hair too badly. I expected a funky mint greenish color and possibly some spots, which is what I got.
I used L'Oreal Paris Hair Color Remover. Color removers aren't meant for semi-permanent dyes, but I have seen a few people use them and because I wasn't looking for a complete removal I was happy to just get some of it out. When I first started applying I was extremely upset. It seemed like there wasn't enough in the box, even for someone with short hair. There isn't, but if you put it in strategically it will sort of spread and get enough of the hair that i wont be too splotchy. The only thing you need to make sure you do is rinse it out thoroughly and condition A LOT afterwards. My hair is already extremely damaged, but the amount of split ends just falling out of my hair when I combed it was scary. As soon as I used my garnier moroccan sleek oil treatment, my hair was fine.
Here is a photo of the color remover and my hair next to my extensions, which are the original color.
